Apache Adventurers cruise the Mediterranean aboard the Norwegian Epic

Dec 14, 2012 by

In May, the TJC Alumni Association’s Apache Adventurers travel group embarked on a Mediterranean cruise.

The group flew from Dallas/Fort Worth to Barcelona, where they boarded the Norwegian Cruise Lines’ largest ship, the Epic, and made stops in Naples, Civitavecchia, Livorno, Cannes and Marseille, with guided tours of Sorrento, Pompeii, Rome, Florence, Pisa, Monaco and Monte Carlo.

“It really was the adventure of a lifetime,” TJC Director of Alumni Affairs Betty Briggs said. “To see the Vatican, the Sistine Chapel, Pompeii, the Colosseum and all of these amazing places in person was just an experience none of us will ever forget.”

In March 2013, Apache Adventurers have an opportunity to travel with the Apache Belles and Apache Band to Japan, where the TJC performance groups will entertain U.S. troops stationed at the naval and air bases.
